The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) International Conference on Teaching, Assessment and Learning for Engineering (TALE) will be held between 10 and 12 December 2015, at Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC), in China.

The IEEE TALE conference is held each year in the Asia-Pacific region, which is known as IEEE Region 10, with the intention to complement the existing conferences sponsored by the IEEE Education Society, most notably Frontiers in Education in North America (IEEE Regions 1–7) as well as EDUCON in Europe/Middle East/Africa (IEEE Region 8). The aim of TALE is to provide a strong platform for both academicians and practitioners so that they can exchange their engineering education experience and expertise at all levels. Both research and practice-oriented papers will be accepted in order to highlight the demand of interdisciplinary collaboration in engineering and education.
Many topics of interest will be discussed, ranging from Academic Staff/Faculty Development to Work-Based and Work-Integrated Education. If you are interested in Capstone Projects, Mobile Learning, Service Learning or Work-Based and Work-Integrated Education, then this conference will be of a high interest to present your ideas and findings to each other.
Proposals for participation in this conference can be submitted in different formats such as a full-page paper (6 to 8 pages), short-page paper (4 to 6 pages) and a maximum of 4 pages for any work-in-progress plus there is the ability to organize special sessions and panels. The submission deadline is 19 September 2015, and announcement of review results will happen on 19 October 2015. The registration deadlines and due date for final papers is on 31 October 2015.
