All beam at Lantern Festival gathering

Convivial stage performances and booth games were presented to celebrate the Lantern Festival in the Union Square of the Student Hostels and Cultural Village on the evening of 5 March.

UIC students and staff showed great talent by performing a cheerleading dance, playing the pipa (Chinese lute), putting on a shadow puppet drama, playing the violin, singing and more.

When Lantern Festival comes round, students and staff gather and celebrate with the rest of the college community. They watch shows, play games, guess lantern riddles and eat tangyuan.
