Thousands of academic books were put on display in the 2013 International Academic Book Road Show at the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) between 12 and 15 November. An endless stream of students and staff benefited by freely naming their favourite books for the LRC to purchase.
The book show, organized by the LRC and China Educational Import & Export Corporation Ltd., was intended to support learning, teaching and research in UIC as well as offer students and staff a chance to select new books.
The shown scholarly books were the most recently published by leading international publishers. They covered subjects like economics, law, management, psychology and literature; all closely related to the UIC curriculum.
With great enthusiasm, teachers and students out picked more than 700 titles in total.
