With bountiful sunlight and clear skies, UIC's 2nd Ultimate Frisbee Competition kicked started on 28 April.

Nearly a hundred students and teachers attended the game on Sunday.
Having faught for the top four positions, eight student teams and an ELC team competed for nearly eight hours in total from preliminaries to finals.
The 5-on-5 final finished with the following results: champion went to the Y4 stuent team, two other student teams taking took second and third places, and the ELC team ranking the fourth.

"We're having an absolutely wonderful time here," said Melanie Miu, manager of the Frisbee Club. "The competition brought in new players to share the joy of Frisbee."
Although the competition was postponed from its original date on 20 April due to bad weather, Frisbee coach Yishan Tang felt pleasantly surprised by the passionate displays at the finals.

Tang believed the participants' affinity for this competition was due to the games' new design, where individual players are randomly put together into teams rather than having them prearranged as one. According to Tang, the redesign eased the application process.

Patrick King, leader of the ELC team, said many of this year's participants have gotten better and made for serious competition. If given any chance in future, Patrick said he would be glad to play again.
