Organized by DBM, Deloitte, one of the largest professional services organizations in the world, presented a career talk at UIC campus on Wednesday, October 18. Professor Stella Cho, Dean of DBM made a welcome speech to Manager Partner Eric Tong's team from head quarter of Deloitte Shenzhen.
Eric's team played a promotional film and introduced each department in detail about their services and duties. Finally, Deloitte announced their campus recruitment procedure.
There are positions available in eleven first and second tier cities around China, focusing on audit and tax department. Online application is due on Oct 25, which would be followed by a written test, a group assignment, and an interview in the end.
As an HR partner, Lisa said Deloitte gave more credits to a candidate's practical ability, such as communication skills, cooperation techniques, emergency solution, etc. As for further collaboration with UIC, Deloitte placed a campus ambassador for the communication between students and the firm. Apart from career consoling, more activities would be held together with UIC students, for example, lectures and speeches.
