On
24th
April, 2009, UIC Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Club was one of
fifteen (15) Universities participating in a Regional Competition in
Hong Kong. As first time's participant and meeting tough challenges
from strong teams like past finalist's Hong Kong University,
Guangdong University Foreign Studies and Guangdong University of
Business Studies, we are extremely delighted to share with you that
our UIC team have won the Regional Competition and qualified as one
of the finalists to the National Competition to be held in Shanghai
on 22-23rd May, 2009.
In
Shanghai, should the team win, they will then head to Berlin in
October 2009. The good performance in Hong Kong, would not have been
possible without the support and assistance rendered from all parties
concerned. To this effect, we would like to extend our heartfelt
thank to the Students Affair Office, Whole Person Education Office
and all faculties who have assisted in one way or another during the
course of the year towards the success of this project.
