The Four-Point Education Trip was launched on Dec. 15, 2007 by UIC Four-Point Education Office. The trip lasted for more than 20 days, covering cities of Nanjing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing and Guiyang. It was a promotion trip for the Four-Point education concept and was also an important step to solidify the connection between UIC and parents, local education authorities, secondary schools as well as the media. The trip was concluded on Jan. 5, 2008 with great success.

Representatives from the Four-Point Education Office paid visits to parents in the six cities to prepare for the establishment of local parents' organizations. They also visited education authorities and a number of secondary schools in the hope of promoting the development of the Secondary Schools Alliance. Ms. Lilian Li, UIC Deputy Chief of Development, attended the parents' gatherings in Shanghai, Zhejiang and Chengdu.

At the parents' gatherings, UIC teachers brought to parents the latest information of the college in teaching, academic registrar, Four-Point Education development, internship and employment preparation and opportunities for studying abroad. The parents' gatherings provided opportunities for direct interaction and communication between the college and parents.
