From Feb 21 to 24, 2008, UIC Hong Kong Office participated in the Education and Career Expo held by Hong Kong Trade Development Council at the HK Convention and Exhibition Center, attracting intense attention from visitors.
On behalf of the college, Prof. Vincent Kwan hosted seminars in the afternoon of Feb. 23 and Feb. 24. The topic of the seminars was "The Perspective and Must-Knowns of Studying in Mainland China". The seminars drew enthusiastic response, attracting an average of 60 visitors each day. After the seminar, many parents and students expressed their interest in participating in campus visits.
Students and parents were deeply impressed by the UIC exhibition and showed great interest in studying at UIC. They had close talks with UIC students and teachers. Many of them regarded the UIC students as "mature and polite". Several students signed up for enrollment immediately.
