UIC HK Office coordinated UIC's participation at the Education and Careers Expo 2007 from 1 Feb through 4 Feb. This is the first time for UIC to participate "formally" in such an Expo. Prior to the Expo, we put up a supplement on UIC on Ming Pao on 31 Jan 07 (page A15) which also announces UIC's participation in the Expo. Located in the "China Pavilion", UIC's booth looks very outstanding and attractive (see attached photos). Prof Vincent Kwan gave a seminar on UIC in the afternoon of 1 Feb and more than 100 people attended this seminar. Over the four days, 3,000 leaflets have been collected by secondary school students, parents and teachers. Many parents and students stopped at our booth to ask questions and register for the next seminar scheduled 16 March and the campus visit scheduled 24 March. Colleagues from UIC's collaborators China-Hong Kong English School, Pui Ching Education Centre and Heung To College of Professional Studies also helped to man the booth and answer enquires.
