On Jan. 27th, 2007, Tsuen Wan District PTA Federation from Hong Kong visited UIC in the hope of establishing a cooperative relationship in the future.
The PTA was invited to the meeting to introduce UIC, from which they could get a clearer impression about our college and strengthen their confidence for a prospective cooperation. Dr. Vincent Kwan, the Acting Dean of the Business and Management Division, introduced UIC in detail for the guests; and then Dr. Ricky Hou, the Deputy Registrar, answered some questions from the guests about the academic registration and certificate after graduation. Four UIC students who also attended the meeting discussed matters with the guests about their study and life in UIC.
The guests then visited the students' dormitories and the Experiential Development Program base after lunch. They were surprised by the EDP base, for it is such a creative and interesting program for students. And as for the student living area, they were all satisfied about the convenient facilities and beautiful environment. One member of the PTA stated that there will be further cooperation with UIC in all probability.
