About the Film:
Considered the most beautiful of Guillermo Del Toro's fables, The Pan's Labyrinth is full of magic, love and hope, but there is also suffering, pain and fear, elements given by the historical context in which the film is set. The director, as usual, reworks a given period enriching it with fantastic elements, always symbolic and functional to the story. With this 2006 film, one of his most highly regarded and awarded, he takes the viewer into the midst of the Spanish Civil War.
