Published on 13 June 2022

UIC 2021-2022 Peer Mentors Awards Presentation Ceremony took place on 18 May 2022. A total of 250 peer mentors were awarded.

The Mentor Caring Programme (MCP) aims to assist UIC first-year students in fitting into university life, where mentors will be assigned to offer help. Usually, the role will be given to one of their teachers or peer mentors who are closely connected to the students to provide support.

UIC Provost Prof Chen Zhi expressed gratitude to the mentors in a speech. He mentioned that the traditional MCP remained vigorous and progressive, providing helpful guidance and advice on time for first-year students on life or academic study.
