UIC magazine New Dimensions Issue 17 displays wonder of university life

UIC released the latest issue of its magazine New Dimensions Issue 17, in both physical and e-book form. The e-version is available on the E-shelf of UIC’s Publications.

This issue centres on the topic "How should we spend university life", telling stories on how students at UIC harvest growths, friendships, and dreams together with their teachers in the liberal arts atmosphere.

The Features session focuses on guidance on university life, collecting useful advice from UIC President Tang Tao and outstanding students, and presenting the efforts that the students and staff had invested in creating an ideal campus jointly.

The College and I session concentrates on the personal stories of UIC’s students and staff members, who are shining on international academic platforms, admitted to world-elite colleges and institutions, contributing to UIC’s development diligently, and more.

The On Liberal Arts session invites Dr Chen Zhan to share his insights on liberal arts education. He shares his thorough understanding from three perspectives, explaining its notion, development, and application in detail.

The Campus Matters session introduces UIC scholars' and students' academic achievements. This semester, UIC teachers were funded by multiple national and provincial foundations, including the National Natural Science Foundation, and nine were listed on the World's Top 2% Scientists list by Stanford University. Students got recognised for exceptional performances in contests like the national mathematical contest and China Daily Campus News Awards.
