Renowned scholar and cultural critic Prof Leo Ou-Fan Lee was invited to give a lecture on the classic Chinese novel, The Story of the Stone, at UIC on 14 May.
Prof Lee is Sin Wai Kin Professor of Chinese Culture at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He gave a close reading on the Chinese classic, and his interpretation appealed to a full house of audience.
The lecture was sponsored by the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Chinese Language and Culture Centre.
