India Week in UIC

Published on 2 April 2012

With thousands of years of civilization, India is a country full of mysterious images. Fed by the waters of the Ganges and the Indus Rivers, India is the second most populous country in the world, and also the important neighbor to China.

From March 13 to 16, activities of India Week including lectures on Indian culture and Indian movies were held at UIC, through which students had a better understanding of Indian culture and customs.

As a key part of India Week activities, Mr. Dhiraj Mukhia, the consul of Consulate General of India in Guangzhou, was invited to deliver a lecture on Indian Culture to UIC students on March 14.
