A generous donation of HK$0.72 million from President Mr. Franco Cutrupia and Managing Director Mrs. Pauline Wei Cutrupia of C.N.T. Limited was handed on March 19. Since next academic year, the fund will be used to assist one student from inland province with financial difficulties to enrol into UIC every year for three consecutive years.
President Ng Ching-Fai, thanked Mr. and Mrs. Cutrupia for their support. He added that, as a private university, UIC needs donations and other forms of public subsidies in order to provide grants and scholarships for prospective students with financial problems.
